​Pepsi Crushes Coke or Coke Crushes Pepsi gives a whimsical adaptation to human desire for competition. Here, I play with reflections and surreal adaptations of complementary colors, for example using greens in the Coke can shadows. It is painted with deliberation to fool the eye into believing it is realism. 
Fun fact: This painting is reversible; it is mounted to hang with Coke on top, or Pepsi, depending on the owner’s preference. ​
